A mystical vineyard situated among rocks and holm oaks, it is located on an impressive crest overlooking the spectacular Arlanza valley. There are ancient rocks which played a major role in the wine-making history of Castilla León at the end of the 19th century. In Palenzuela, in the province of Palencia, 740m above sea level, lie 22 hectares of vineyard with the magic required to produce great wine. The area enjoys cold and dry winters, short springs and summers with greatly contrasting day and night-time temperatures. It provides the ideal basis for creating personality and expressive power. |
